When Samantha from Isobel Hind Couture got in touch about shooting her new collection it all started out as a small, headshot only kind of shoot. But as always – the shoot grew every time we chatted over the phone about ideas and getting together again! I guess you can’t simply put two creatives together and not get carried away. Samantha’s stunning creations are currently stocked by Kate Halfpenny London, who very kindly loaned us some dresses and an exquisite lace Cathedral veil. We also had some beautiful dresses and skirts from Eve and Ellis bridal shop who will be stocking some of Samantha’s new designs. We shot at Narborough Hall Gardens (any excuse to go back), but this time we also set up a mini studio in their piano room to lend a different look to some of the images. We had some gorgeous shoes from Harriet Wilde and the most wonderful huge peony blossom pompoms and had dyed silk ribbons (seen around the bouquets), made by Sophie from PompomBlossom. These handmade blossoms are every girls dream, I’m already instructed by my daughter to purchase some for her bedroom so they are not only wonderful for creating a romantic look for your wedding – they are also brilliant for adding some panache to your interiors after!
The hair and make up was expertly crafted by Alison Jenner, girls you need this lady in your book – she is absolutely amazing! Her beautiful daughter Milli modelled for us along with the lovely Robby who we already adored. Both girls were such pros and amazingly warm with it. The bouquets were supplied by Michaella from House Of Blooms who will work with you every step of the way to create your bespoke bouquet and wedding flowers. So, back to Isobel Hind Couture – alongside her bespoke pieces, Isobel Hind Couture also offers definitive collections. The two seen here are her two latest collections called Seeds and Silver bells.
Seeds is inspired by nature, a collection of Matt Gold or Gloss White accentuated with tiny glittering seed beads and matt pearls, it is a beautifully balanced collection creating a distinct style without distracting from the bride or her gown. Silver Bells Collection has a deco influence to its flowers in a row, the collection uses tiny swarovski crystals and platinum pearls for a truly deco palette or beautiful gloss Ivory pearls for a more ethereal style. Whether you choose from our one-off bespoke vintage headpieces or our made to order collections, each piece is lovingly handmade in her studio in the Lakes where she spends her days being inspired by beautiful materials and embroidery, working in her dream job (and trying to resist those dark chocolate ginger biscuits!).
I hope you enjoy this collection of images x
